Manfrotto 117 Professional Tripod with 128 RC Head
Up for purchase is a used Manfrotto 117 Professional Tripod with 128 RC Head that has been retired from use and has been gathering dust in the corner for the last few years.
Everything works well and it's in great condition considering it's about 15 years old. I've given it a quick clean (more needed as it has some left over gaffa tape marks) and have checked all the functions, the only 2 faults are on the support rod on the center shaft (nuts missing) and on the head itself where the quick release plate spring function does not work. It seems a bit of casting has sheared off that it pushes against. It still works OK.
The plate is also missing the 'C' clip that stops the screw falling out. Common problem the older and more worn the plate gets. After market plates are cheap on eBay if it's a problem.
All in all a great tripod, with many years of service ahead of itself.
I am more than happy to take electronic payment and post the tripod if you need. I think something like myHermes would cost about £8 without insurance.
