Did you know The Army have all sorts of roles available? From Warehouse Distribution Assistants helping to pick, pack and deliver ammo and tanks, to Communication Engineers ensuring we have flawless networks. Help to keep our soldiers and their families fit and healthy by becoming a Nurse, or join a band as a Musician and find yourself performing on the world’s greatest stages. You could be a Translator, helping to create fluid communication links or a Mapping & Planning Specialist mapping disaster relief plans or top secret environments. You could even be a Business Administrator ensuring all our comrades are taken care of. And then of course, there are always our Infantry, Guardsman and Tank Crewman roles. Whatever role you choose you’ll get fit, achieve real qualifications, pick up valuable skills and make friends for life – all while travelling the world.
Chances are, you’re already right for any of these full-time roles – you just need the ambition and drive to make a difference – all while earning a decent wage.
WORLD-CLASS TRAINING
You’ll start with basic training (20 weeks at Harrogate for those aged 16 years 6 months to 17 years 5 months, 14 weeks at Pirbright for those aged 17 years to 32 years 11 months). After that it’s on to your specialist training depending on the role you choose.
GAIN QUALIFICATIONS
The Army will pay for you to gain valuable qualifications. These could include:
• CIPD
• CIMA
• HGV licences
• NCQ and/or QCF Apprentice qualifications
• You could even work towards a Masters, BSc or BA
• Diplomas in a range of Music subjects
• Assisted learning in whatever medical speciality

• Regular Army age: 16.6 - 32.11 years
• Army Reserve age: 17.9 - 49.11 years
Qualifications you’ll need:
