Creative, and expressive drummer wanted for new project.Sounds like you?Are you new Carter Beauford?
Description
To the groovy folks,
I am a solo artist who is looking to find an expressive drummer, who could help me to finish writing my songs, as well as would be interested in forming live project.
I have been writing for many years now and need some input with rhytmic side of composing. At the moment I have pads, as well as full ableton setup with NI Machine. I will be honest, I don't have much patience to drums programming, so band seems to be an ideal solution! I am in no means a professional, neither have musical education. But I feel over the years, I have developed sense of expression which influenced my playing(sounds unbelievably pretentious :) ).
My music is based mainly on acoustic/electric guitar. I like jazzy, soul fingerstyle, as well as go drop down D and hit a huge chord with distortion. I also love playing with delay as well as reverb. Electric guitar and bow is on my list to do. Currently I am also taking singing lessons, so I try to have a serious approach :)
I would like to think my songs are quite versatile, and could be arranged into many different styles. I have tried arranging some of the riffs into electronic(Nicholas Jaar style) and it went not bad. Loads of potential then!
I am looking for someone who is not afraid of broken beats, as well as who is able to follow the melody. My music is very rhytmic, and a big chunk of groove comes from my fingerstyle. If you want to be new Carter Beauford, drop me a line!
Idea is to form a band, including bass guitar, synths and maybe even trumpets?
Influences: Dave Matthews Band, Moderat, Muse, Massive Attack, RATM and many more.
If you reached it until here...
Yeah, I know it all sounds quite ambitious... but it could be so much fun too, right? I am a strong believer(hard procrastinator too..) that hard work which you enjoy, can take you far.
Do you wanna give it a try?
Thanks,
P.
