Oscar
Oscar is an 9 year old, unregistered, grey Welsh pony standing at 12.2hh. He is good to catch, lead and loads first time. Oscar could stand all day to be groomed and loves attention and getting a fuss made of him, he has never kicked out or bitten and isn't bargy. Lives out unrugged but would happily be stabled. Has had his teeth and feet done recently and is barefoot at the moment and is good for the farrier. On a hack he is a plod, (will walk trot, canter) he will go first or last and alone or in company and will happily lead off another horse. In the school he will school alone or in company and goes well off voice, he walks and trots well however is still green in canter as I don't think he has ever done much of it. He has done a little jumping with me has a lot of scope when free lunged and has done some small cross poles and straights when ridden and has taken it all in his stride. He has never bolted, bucked or bronked. He holds him self well when ridden and moves nicely. He can however be sharp when he is first mounted but isn't nasty and can be sensitive to the girth at first but never fazes him once he is ridden. After he has walked forwards he is fine and settles into work. Also being grey he has some small melanomas on his dock but vets have looked at them and are happy that they won't effect him until much later in life. He will come with a bridle, girth and bit which is all brand new. He is a very special boy full of character and will be missed, so he will only go to a 5 star, knowledgable home.
