This tent was in perfect condition until we foolishly let someone borrow this tent, who managed to break the zips on one door and also lost the poles.
We bought new poles (universal types, cut to the correct lengths) for it. The zips on the main door would not hold together any more. As such, I have had to sew the zips up. The are very secure and will not come open. The sewing wouldn't win any prizes but it's a strong repair (I used strong fishing line which is clear and will never rot). You can't see the repair from the outside at all. Someone with good sewing skills could easily replace the zips to make a proper repair.
Fortunately, these tents have a side door. The zips on the side door of the tent are in perfect working order. To be honest, we preferred to use the side door any way so this did not bother us at all.
Otherwise, the tent really is spot on. We used the tent last year, after making these repairs, for a two week camping holiday in Wales where of course it rained A LOT. I had treated the tent with two good coats of Fabsil liquid (the new stuff with UV protector in). This was applied with a paint brush, not the weedy spray bottles you can buy. Rain just beads off the fabric now. It wont need re-doing for a long time (which is good as the Fabsil isn't cheap!)
The tent is in clean condition. There are no tears or rips, no stains or any missing bits. The sleeping compartment zips work great.
Only for sale as we've acquired a bigger tent. Any inspection is welcome (we have room to pitch the tent). Excellent tent for a small family, and at this price, a cheap way of giving camping a go.
This is the cheapest Rock 5 tent around as far as I can tell.
I don't have photographs of the zips that have been sewn shut. Any inspection welcome though.
