Description
I bought the van in 2013 and had it professionally converted by Wudworx Joinery near Sheffield who did a sterling job. The units were modelled on the popular VW T5 unit layout. I have done 2 fantastic trips across Europe in her and enjoyed every minute. Bongo’s make a very fun, affordable camper that are very comfortable to drive. Footprint is not much bigger than a car which mean you are not restricted with parking etc (except height restrictions of course. Sadly I have to say goodbye now I don’t have the time to use it and have house renovations to fund.
Some of the features are…...
Factory Fitted Auto Free Top Roof which sleeps 2 people and comes with purpose made memory foam mattress

High quality rock and roll bed from Cannons Forge. I was advised to spend more on a quality bed so the slide mechanism lasts and pulling out the bed is much easier.
Cannons Forge offer one of the best rated beds on the market.

Recently passed MOT. If you read any reviews on Bongos they all confirm that bongos are very reliable vehicles providing you take care of a few things. The main one being the cooling system. I have serviced it recently the main hoses to the radiator and new diverter valve so it is very good shape.
4 good tyres (one brand new to replace a damaged one) and recently tracked up / aligned.
The MOT picked up a small rust patch on the nearside sill which along with a few other spots of surface rust is the only significant defect. The sill has now being re plated, welded and touched up with some primer paint. The offside rear wheel arch and bottom of the rear tailgate door are the areas that have developed rust spots under the paint work. It is surface rust only so no welding required just gringing back and re spraying in those 2 areas. I have tried to show this in the pictures. I have just been quoted £400 to do this work but opted to advertise the van anyway because after booking in and completing the work August will have passed us buy which is when I assume people intend to get most use out of it. The work is not urgent so could wait till the end of the summer. On this basis I have already reduced the selling price to reflect this work that needs doing.
